Hey! I’m Emma.

I’m a self-taught graphic designer with a lifetime of love for all things art.

I started as an artist doing finger paintings, sand castles, and building things with my dad in his woodshop.

I grew up in Ely, Minnesota on a lake in the middle of the woods. That’s where I gained my love of nature and all things beautiful. I wanted to recreate that feeling of beauty as much as I could, so I started painting.

As I learned to paint, I learned to become more precise and life-like.

That got boring to me, so I started doodling.

Doodling led to illustration, which got expensive. So, I decided to try my hand at digital art to save on paint, brushes, paper… etc (and saving my wallet from the never ending toy store that is the art supplies store). Then came my time at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. For 4 years I oversaw the Media Center’s work studies and equipment circulations. During that time, I learned exponentially more about the art world than I had anticipated I would learn. I am happy to say that I had the chance to learn graphic design, illustration,

and motion graphics from some amazing instructors and friends.

Today, I enjoy painting, drawing, gardening, and cooking in my free time.

I am a supporter of Palestine. 🇵🇸
